Standings helper
A browser extension that sends the standings of Union Arena events you played in to this site.
Why it exists
Bandai serves an event's standings only to the people who played in it, and there is no public endpoint for them. This site can only hold results for events someone here attended. The helper is how a player contributes the events they were at.
What it sends
When you click sync, the extension reads your Bandai TCG+ login from your browser, asks Bandai for the standings of the events you attended, and sends those standings here. It keeps your pairing, sync progress and update requirement in your browser. Submissions include the helper version, browser and a random sync identifier.
Your TCG+ login never reaches our server. It is used as the header on the request to Bandai, in your browser, and goes nowhere else.
The standings name the other entrants: TCG+ account name, Bandai membership number and placement. The privacy page covers what happens to it.
You need helper access
The extension does nothing until it is paired with a UA Homies account that has helper access, which is granted by hand. Ask in Discord or through the report link on any page.
Install
Chrome, Edge and Brave
InstallInstalls in one click.
Unzip the download.
Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and pick the folder.
Chrome shows a warning about unpacked extensions on every start.
For updates, replace the contents of that same folder and choose Reload.
Firefox

Updating the helper
Store-installed helpers update automatically. If an update is required, syncing pauses until you install it. Your pairing stays connected.
In Chrome, Edge or Brave, open the extensions page, turn on Developer mode and choose Update. In Firefox, open Add-ons and themes, then the gear menu and Check for Updates. Close helper tabs if the browser asks, then reopen the helper.
For a manual Chrome installation, download the latest package above, replace the contents of the existing extension folder and choose Reload on the extensions page. Keep the same folder to preserve pairing.
Helper 1.2.0 and later save unfinished syncs. Reopen the helper and choose Resume sync. After updating an older version, start a new sync.
After installing
Generate a pairing code on your extension settings page and paste it into the extension. The code lasts five minutes and works once. Syncing after that is one button, and you can disconnect a device from the same page.
